Polyam Unions

We all celebrated when marriage equality came along, but there remains some way to go before marriage can genuinely be considered equally open to all Australians. Polyamorous Unions lack legal status, but what they lack in legal significance, they more than make up for in personal significance.

At this point in time, polyamorous folk cannot marry the people they love. At least, not all of them. So until that changes, the best option for poly folk are commitment ceremonies.

Trevar Alan Skillicorn-Chilver specialises in understanding and affirming the commitments of polyamorous Australians, and can talk you through the options open to you, so get in touch today.

Gift a Polyamorous Union Ceremony

A ceremony is a fantastic gift to present in certain circumstances… the one thing to consider is that a celebrant is a very personal choice. Just because you think I’m the bee’s knees doesn’t mean the people you’re buying for think the same.

If you’re considering giving a polyamorous union ceremony as a gift, I suggest you discuss it with the recipients first. When you offer to cover the costs, allow them to choose the celebrant. And remember that paying for a ceremony doesn’t mean your preferences trump those of the recipients.

If you would like a gift certificate, I am able to help. Just get in touch (details below) to discuss the circumstances.
